Primary responsibility for identifying, selecting and acquiring multi-tenant retail properties and development opportunities within the Eastern half of the US. This requires detailed knowledge of market drivers, economic trends, leases and operating expenses. A specific emphasis will be on redevelopment/repositioning opportunities.
Assist with financial analysis and asset underwriting to determine asset values, asset upside and key risk factors.
Assist with property due diligence to fully understand the risks and opportunities of final acquisition candidate properties.
Establishing Strong Market Presence:
Represent Company as a “best practices” real estate investor in each market targeted market.
Develop detailed market knowledge and nurture relationships with key real estate brokers in various markets via face to face meetings and phone calls.
Establish and maintain Company’s reputation for integrity, strength, outstanding performance and overall excellence.
Be the expert on specific markets – know the details regarding rents, trends, sales comps, major owners, etc.
Provide feedback on these markets – macro trends, corporate drivers/exposures, depth/type of competition, intensity of competition, probability of winning.

Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Willingness to travel.
Experience with retail tenants and tenant broker relationships desirable.
