Direct third-party leasing team for company’s existing portfolio of shopping centers.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Manage and motivate a national team of third-party brokers and agents tasked with leasing up the company’s portfolio of shopping centers.
Streamline the negotiation and execution of all letters of intent and lease agreements.
Minimize portfolio vacancy and days vacant outstanding (DVO).
Ensure availability and quality of all marketing information.
Manage website content for all portfolio properties.
Maintain market intelligence and competitive comp rates for all competitor shopping centers.
Work with Property Management to ensure all vacancies are market ready
Provide strategies to executive management to ensure properties are well-positioned for lease up activity.
Work closely with Property Management to understand properties that are likely to become vacant due to poor tenant performance and collection problems.
Provide leadership and expertise on shopping center tenant mix goals and target new tenants.
Work with executive management and Development team on planning tenants for new shopping centers.
Work with executive management to determine target net rents for each shopping center and manage to these net rents.
Candidate Attributes, Experience and Qualifications:
Solid track record of good performance in retail shopping center leasing.
Sales Management experience.
Lease negotiation experience.
Mature professional capable of working in an entrepreneurial environment characterized by rapid change.
Results, performance-driven professional.
Track record of using technology to succeed.
