About this Opportunity:
Regency Centers is seeking a Sr. Manager, Property Marketing to join our team located at either our Los Angeles, California or Vienna, Virginia regional office or at our corporate office in Jacksonville, Florida. The Sr. Manager, Property Marketing will lead the marketing and branding efforts for Regency’s national development and redevelopment portfolio to accomplish merchandising and occupancy goals of our shopping centers by partnering to pitch new business, generating unique ideas and strategies, utilizing market data and research, utilizing social media and traditional public relations, and assisting in the evolution and implementation of national sales tools. Will fulfill B2C marketing needs for existing centers, redevelopment, and development projects with assistance from third party vendors and firms.
Partner with Regional and Investment Officers to develop and execute marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value of the center to retailers, tenants, brokers, community groups, land sellers, city officials, and other audiences for redevelopment and development projects.
Initiate the integration of a digital strategy into traditional marketing efforts through a commitment to the use of social media in order to develop concepts and strategies that will support our Fresh Look initiative and drive leasing/consumer visitation.
Maintain awareness and understanding of new technologies, and assist with internal company-wide communication and education initiatives with assistance from the Communications Manager.
With assistance from third party marketing consultants, where needed, develop and execute strategies for grand openings and special events that establish retailers and centers in a manner consistent with the center’s strategic plan as well as Fresh Look initiatives.
Manage the marketing plan and budget to affect the goals of the center’s strategic and merchandising plan for centers with a Marketing Fund in place.
Direct the Marketing and Events Managers in the execution of property programming and consumer marketing.
Maintain and utilize tools and processes necessary to the execution, management, and measuring of tools and services provided.
Participate in the development, administration, and maintenance of a yearly budget.
Prepare and provide regular verbal and written communications as directed or necessary.
Perform other duties in coordination with and under direction of the V.P. of Marketing + Communications.

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field from an accredited institution
At least eight (8) years of relevant experience in retail or retail real estate
Prior supervisory and/or team leadership experience
Expertise in marketing, product positioning, digital marketing, and research fundamentals
Demonstrated and proven strategy for implementation of Internet and social media tools such as blogs, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, SnapChat, PURLs, etc.
Demonstrated ability to strategize, conceptualize, and develop innovative collateral that act as sales generators
Ability to travel to centers/offices within our national portfolio
Master’s degree in related field
Ten (10) years’ relevant experience in marketing industry
Experience marketing for retail shopping centers or malls
Strong communication skills (e.g. being capable of precise written and verbal communication; the ability to present to customers and audiences of all sizes and respond to questions from management, tenants, clients, and customers; and the ability to communicate the value of goods/services being provided
Problem solving skills, creative thinking, and resourcefulness
Self-motivation along with self-direction, creative innovation, and energy
Organizational and time-management skills
