Our client is seeking a Tenant Improvement Project Manager whose main responsibilities will include management of the Tenant Improvement Team and tenant tracking, review of lease documents and contracts, and approval of Tenant Improvement Allowance Requests in MRI.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Direct oversight of the Tenant Improvement Team
Review, manage and update the Tenant Tracker
Review lease documents with the Tenant Improvement Team
Review and approve Tenant Improvement Allowance requests in MRI
Review Tenant Improvement contracts
“Player/Coach position” which entails the continued support and management of their own project responsibilities within their assigned region(s)
Responsible for the supervision, management, and leadership of the Tenant Improvement Team.
Regular or predictable attendance is a requirement of this job.
Requires strong interpersonal skills
Requires regular interaction between various intercompany departments

Requires ability to read and understand lease and building plan documents
Must be able to multitask with excellent organizational skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
The ability to manage several projects with expedited schedules and manage time efficiently.
Management of several individuals and ability to provide direction in a timely manner.
Site visits to construction sites are more physically demanding than regular office work.
Navigating construction sites or within buildings under construction and/or undergoing a remodel.
Require the ability to access a roof by using a ladder.
Work from heights, lifting.
Reviewing construction and signage documents.
Travel will be required
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or 3-5years of related experience and/or job training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Requires at least three years of experience in managing tenant Improvement projects as an Owner’s representative in a retail development/management company.
