Directly responsible for delivery of the specialty leasing and alternative revenue, merchandising and financial and non-financial goals for clients and retail platform. As manager and senior dealmaker, will provide direction, support and leadership in delivery of these objectives. Will develop in conjunction with Specialty Leasing Managers (SLMs) the local specialty leasing strategy, work closely with individual Specialty Leasing Managers (SLMs) on delivery of goals and drive accountability through targets and communications. Other responsibilities include: deal making as needed, monthly financial reporting and forecasting, liaison with leasing, marketing and management, garner and share retail trend knowledge within markets, prospect with SLMs on regular basis, foster employee development through mid-year performance updates, manage on-boarding of new hires and lead their teams in business to business (B2B) and social media marketing efforts.
In addition, will leverage expertise in specialty leasing and alternative revenue for other property types including office and industrial to increase revenue for clients and the firm such as digital and static advertising and vending.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute specialty leasing and sales strategies which deliver revenue goals for client properties and the retail platform while maintaining high standards
Lead and direct SLMs to develop and implement strategies to achieve annual financial and non-financial goals.
Drive accountability through establishment of sales goals for all vacancies and communicate with team regularly (weekly/bi-weekly).
Manage all prospecting efforts as part of sales management process to ensure strategic execution and follow-through.
Manage and review all monthly financial reporting (budgets, projections) to ensure accuracy. Identify risk to budgets in advance and execute plans to mitigate.
Assist SLMs with the evaluation of national account activity in their centers and determine ways to help grow national programs, improve strategic placement of inventory, and better manage sales.
Review and approve all deals in region to ensure rents are in line with sales strategies and visuals are in accordance with guidelines.
Develop local market expertise, retail and industry trends. Ensure that SLMs are actively engaged and properly maintaining B2B specialty leasing efforts utilizing platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and Yelp etc.
Ensure that local SLMs have developed the proper skillset to lease as market experts representing CBRE and their center in a confident and skillful manner.
Liaison with property management, marketing and leasing at the center and regional level.
Review expense budgets/reports and make sure they are in compliance with approved budget.
Prospect with and/or visit local centers as needed with SLMs.
Train new hires in on all aspects of job as described in the SLM job description.
Maintain semi-annual performance conversations to ensure proper performance. Proactively address performance issues with HR and manage accordingly. Thorough performance reviews established to support a highly productive team organization.
Represent Specialty Leasing and interact with senior executives as necessary.
Travel as needed to attend meetings, conferences etc.
Closely tracks all transaction activity (commissionable and non-commissionable), prepares commission forecasts and vouchers, and accounts for all savings results achieved on behalf of clients.
Monitors and maintains a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion
Assist in preparing new business proposals and participate in presentations.
Adheres to all state real estate agency requirements. Ensures compliance with CBRE's corporate policies as they relate to identifying and mitigating potential conflicts of interest.
Performs other duties as assigned.
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides assistance and oversight such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and a minimum of two to four years of related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real Estate Salesperson license.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles. Conducts advanced financial analysis.

OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Advanced computer software application (Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) and Internet navigational skills. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
